Welcome to Canterbury

We are so glad you have found us. Hopefully, this information will tell you a little about our mission and ministry.

Our mission: We are a group of faithful Christians drawn together to learn, discuss, and worship together, and to have a good time. We work to give back to our community with various service projects and giving around the Lubbock Area. Through education, liturgy, and community, we seek to live out the gospel in our daily lives.

Our ministry: At Canterbury we try to live out the covenant between God and God’s people. We gather for worship, study, and fellowship each week while school is in session. Canterbury is a ministry of the Episcopal Diocese of Northwest Texas. Canterbury is primarily a gathering place for students of Texas Tech University, but if you are a student from another Lubbock area college, you are welcome to join us - we would love to have you!

Come join us: Currently, we gather together on Sunday nights at 6:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Tuesdays. Please come join us for worship, study, and dinner this week
